Great book, conflicted because of the movie

I read this book after seeing the movie. I'm not sure if that was a mistake... The book was very well written, and I became quite invested in the characters. However, the major "reveal" in the story came quite early and was anti-climactic. The book would have been served better to push the reveal out a bit - which is exactly what the movie did. A rare circumstance in which the movie was a bit better!
